- Title:President of the BoardBoard MemberLillian Dabney came to bookmaking through the back door by her practice of lettering. She has studied bookbinding with Kitty Maryatt and Dick Pio in Southern California and apprenticed with Joel Radcliffe at his Ars Obscura bindery in Pioneer Square. Lillian is the founder of the Belltown Book Artists which is a Book Arts Portfolio Group that meets monthly. In 2004, she founded SCBA in order to establish a facility dedicated to book arts in Seattle. When Lillian is not making books, she is reading them and can be found most days at the downtown Seattle Public Library volunteering, attending library programs and working as assistant manager in the Friends Shop.

- Title:SecretaryBoard MemberLisa Hasegawa graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking and received her Master of Fine Arts in Book Arts/Printmaking from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Her love of letterpress led her to teach at Pratt Fine Arts Center and to become the sole proprietor of ilfant press. In 2001 she co-founded the monthly Postcard Exchange and continues as its organizer. Her work has received several awards and has been exhibited nationally. Her artist's books and prints are collected by the University of Washington, The University of the Arts, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Yale University and the University of Vermont. She lives in Seattle with a turtle, cat, two fish and her partner, Joseph.<br />
- Board MemberLynne Kelly lives at the base of Mt Index with her family and 2 horses. When she is not getting glue all over everything, she is out in her garden or earning money for art supplies by working as a Legal Nurse Consultant. - InstructorBoard MemberYuka Petz caught the bookbinding bug after making her first book in third grade and has been making books and paper ever since. She has a BFA in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and has studied papermaking at the Dieu Donné papermill in New York and the Awagami Factory in Tokushima, Japan. - Board MemberK.C. Potter discovered bookmaking at a very young age, equipped with crayons, paper, and staples. With a few more skills under her belt, she now finds time to create and sew pages of ABC books together for her two nieces. K.C. studied Fine Art, Photography and Art History at the University of Pennsylvania, and most recently fell in love with letterpress at the Pratt Fine Art Center in Seattle. Her passion for the arts led her to teach photography and run programs at a local non-profit serving Seattle youth. Currently, K.C. is developing her own artwork, and is employed at the G. Gibson Gallery in Pioneer Square.<br />
- Board MemberDan Shafer is a graphic designer and artist based in Seattle. He teaches book arts classes at Cornish College of the Arts and runs Dandy Co, a graphic design studio. Dan worked in the Book Arts Program at Mills College in Oakland, CA. He has a BA in Studio art from Western Washington University and an MFA in Design from California College of the Arts.
